The Cannabis Shop is a dispensary opening in Ontario. While several logo options were designed and presented, the client ultimately wanted a more literal feel and requested the use of a cannabis leaf in the final design.
While they will carry many of the same products as other dispensaries, The Cannabis Shop plans to set themselves apart in terms of their customer service, welcoming atmosphere and informative displays. The logo design represents this idea of being boxed in, but striving to work within the restrictions while thinking outside the box as well. A secondary logo was also created for use in social profile images or square format requirements such as packaging.
The original window wrap was designed with a peaceful scene of cottage country, which was later abandoned in favour of the alternate concept of graphic stripes in the blues of their brand identity.
Interior signage was also created to indicate entrance and exit points around the required partition wall, as well as product and category signs.
The website was created as a simple informative gateway to allow patrons to get a sense of the feeling and passion behind the project, as well as offer an online ordering platform powered by a third party.
