I was asked to develop the brand identity, packaging and website for a small mother and son startup in Ontario that made organic, handmade bread using wild yeast in their sourdough breads.
Because I was based in BC at the time, it was difficult to not be able to photograph the bread myself.
The logo was hand drawn to play on the handmade idea, leaving small imperfections in place. Everything was created in a black and white scheme so that labels and small print runs could be handled in house on an as-needed basis.
A selection of social posts were created as a template for future posts. The website features photos of the various breads and incorporates an ecommerce element to allow customers to pre-order their breads for pickup at the following market.
After a successful 2 years, Wildly Organic unfortunately shut down due to the owner’s health issues. I like to keep this project up as it’s a more delicate branding and design than I had done in the past.
