Glacial Gold

Responsible For:

Logo Refresh
Branding & Identity Design
Package Design
Presentation Templates
Social Design Templates
Initial Web Design

The Objective

Glacial Gold, previously a legacy market brand, was acquired and brought into the legal rec market. I was tasked with refreshing the logo based on the clients’ requested changes, and expanding upon the identity design to include packaging, brand collateral and stationery, website, powerpoint and social graphics.

The marketing and creative directors had a lot of input throughout the process but were keen to allow creative freedom at the beginning to explore various concepts. I provided 8 different designs for the packaging and 5 designs for business cards.

Ultimately the cohesive look and style of the glacial photography in the background with branded colours being used as highlights won out, and these elements were peppered throughout the other assets. I also created some icons for use on the site, and designed various pages prior to their product release to reintroduce the brand to the market.

Client

FIGR

Responsible For:

Illustration
Poster design

The Objective

FIGR is a licensed cannabis producer located in PEI. For a summer campaign, I was asked to create a poster incorporating an illustration of a Canadian summer with FIGR’s products.

I sketched out, then coloured, the illustrated scene of some adirondack chairs on a dock, and added imagery of their packaging and products below using their branded colours for each as background squares. This was then created in both vertical and horizontal formats.

The Green Organic Dutchman

Responsible For:

Print design
social design
digital design

The Objective

TGOD (The Green Organic Dutchman) is a licensed cannabis producer located in Ontario. They had a range of designs they needed for their main brand as well as Highly Dutch brand. While the TGOD brand is a bit more corporate and professional, the Highly Dutch brand has a bit of a fun, younger vibe which uses a lot of gradient backgrounds and film overlays / effects.

From social posts to print collateral, everything was designed with a lot of creative direction from the marketing team at TGOD.

Client

Summit Cannabis

Responsible For:

Branding & Identity Design

The Objective

A new dispensary opening in Southern Ontario asked me to develop their brand identity based on a feeling of inclusion with a ‘west coast’ feel. The original concept was based on the name Summit, but was later abandoned due to a naming conflict. These images represent what was originally created for them.

Various craft cannabis growers

Responsible For:

photography

The Objective

Some of the photos I took for craft cannabis growers in the greater Vancouver area. This is a small selection of over 1000 images taken at the height of the cannabis boom a few years back.

Client

BC Craft Farmers Co-op

Responsible For:

Promotional design

The Objective

I was asked by the BC Craft Farmers Co-op to design and produce a promotional flyer and poster to promote their BC Craft Cannabis Club, open to consumers and members of the public interested in supporting the Co-op’s mission to ensure B.C. farmers are included in the legal market and their products get onto the shelf of cannabis stores across B.C. The design features one of my photos and uses their colour palette for brand consistency.
