The Cardinal Group is an umbrella company for a number of business on Vancouver Island.

The design of the icon was made from a single line, creating the initials (CG) out of one line to show the various parts (a.k.a. businesses) are united. The red and black colour scheme plays on that of an actual cardinal after which the company was named.
